Hi! My name is Dário

Goodnight! My name is Dário. I have schizoaffective disorder. I was born into an alcoholic family and my parents' divorce was traumatic. I had experiences in my childhood that made me feel ashamed and I don't feel comfortable admitting them here. I had a problematic adolescence, with drug use and petty crimes. I started working when I was 19 years old. When I was 23 years old I was in a motorcycle accident and injured my back. Professional problems began. At the age of 24 I had my first psychotic episodes. A severe depression followed, lasting five years. I converted when I was 25 years old, I began to receive treatment in church and also in anonymous groups. I ended up being retired due to disability, diagnosed with schizophrenia. I turned a hobby (reading) into a business, and for ten years I ran a used book store. After that I had the opportunity to publish four books. I got married and five years later I got divorced. I didn't have children. Today I'm preparing the fifth book. I will publish it by the middle of the year, God willing. I continue in church and anonymous groups. I'm taking a technical course in Tourism guiding. I also continue undergoing psychiatric treatment and I'm fine for today, thank God. Today my diagnosis is schizoaffective disorder. I also wait for the return of the Lord Jesus. My salvation is the most precious thing in my life, and in eternity with God there are no illnesses. This is the summary of my life. Big hug, fellow schizophrenics and stay with God!
